Terms of Use

The service

chonk.me provides an AI fat filter / super-chonk photo editor: upload a photo, optionally target people, generate a fully clothed weight-gain meme still, and optionally animate a short clip. Results are entertainment / meme comedy—not medical advice, not identity documents, and not a guarantee of any particular likeness or quality.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your region and capable of consenting to these terms. Do not use the service if you are under 13 (or the higher age required where you live).

Accounts & credits

• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Chonks are digital credits for generations and animations. Free and promotional credits may change or end. Purchased credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated at checkout.
• We may rate-limit, throttle, or refuse jobs that look abusive or unsafe.

Your content & license

You retain rights to photos you upload, subject to the rights of people depicted. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate chonk.me (including model inference, storage, delivery, and—if you publish—public pages and feed).

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process each photo, including consent from people shown when required.

Before generating, you affirmatively acknowledge (via the in-app checkbox) that you have the right to use the photo—including any required consent from people depicted—and that you will label anything you share publicly as AI-generated. We may store that acknowledgment with the generation for safety and support.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload or generate content involving minors (anyone under 18).
• Create sexualized, pornographic, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Use results to harass, defame, extort, or humiliate others.
• Violate others’ privacy, IP rights, or applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service.
• Resell access or automate the product in ways that circumvent fair-use or payment systems.

chonk.me is intended for fully clothed meme comedy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Public feed & sharing

Publishing a result may make images and limited profile info visible on public URLs and the feed. You are responsible for what you publish. We may moderate or remove public content that violates these terms.

AI outputs

Outputs can be surprising, imperfect, or biased. Face preservation is best-effort. You are responsible for how you use and share outputs. When you share results publicly (social feeds, messages, posts, or similar), you agree to label them as AI-generated / synthetic so others are not misled. Do not present generated images as unedited photos of real events when that would mislead others in a harmful way.

Intellectual property

The chonk.me product, brand, UI, and software are ours or our licensors’. These terms do not transfer ownership of our IP to you.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR CREDITS IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, or prolonged inactivity. Provisions that should survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using chonk.me.
